Transforming poultry preservation

Poultry operations depend on conditions that change quickly and on a record that stands up afterwards.

The situation

Inside a poultry house, temperature, humidity and ventilation move faster than a manual round can catch. Downstream, frozen storage and distribution carry their own regulatory obligation to demonstrate that conditions were held.

What we did

Continuous environmental monitoring covers the house; cold room and refrigerated transport monitoring covers what happens after. Both produce a record rather than a spot reading.

Kain Globe’s customer at Eddie Hin Beverages in Fiji describes the same combination in their own words: frozen storage remote monitoring together with real-time distribution tracking, meeting regulatory requirements.

What was applied

  • Real-time environmental monitoring of temperature, humidity, ventilation and lighting
  • Cold room temperature monitoring systems
  • Alerts and notifications for critical events and equipment malfunctions
  • Data analytics and reporting, including egg production tracking
