Privacy Policy
What we collect through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Who we are
K-Ain (Pvt) Ltd, trading as Kain Globe Telematics (“we”, “us”), operates this website and is the controller of the personal data described below. Our registered office is 30, Bellanthara Road, Dehiwala, Sri Lanka. What we collect
We collect personal data in one situation only: when you complete the enquiry form on our contact page. That form asks for your name, company, business email address, telephone number, the area of interest you select, and the message you write.
We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking scripts on this website. We do not build profiles of visitors and we do not buy or receive personal data about you from third parties.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use the information you submit for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, where you ask us to, to prepare a quotation or arrange a demonstration. The lawful basis is your consent, given by choosing to send the enquiry, and our legitimate interest in responding to prospective customers.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is retained for as long as needed to deal with your request and to meet our record-keeping obligations, and is then deleted. If you ask us to delete your enquiry sooner, we will do so unless we are required to keep it.
Who else sees it
Your enquiry is handled by our own staff. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for marketing. We may share information where we are legally required to.
Two third-party services are involved in serving this site:
- Google Fonts supplies the typeface. Your browser requests the font files from Google servers, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
- Google Maps is embedded on our contact page so you can find our office. Loading that map involves a request to Google.
Both are operated by Google, whose own privacy terms apply to those requests.
International transfers
The two Google services above may process the request data outside Sri Lanka. Any enquiry you send us is handled at our office in Dehiwala.
Your rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022 you may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, or object to our using it. Contact us at info@kainglobe.com and we will respond.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information you send us. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure; please do not send sensitive personal information through the enquiry form.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
